I cannot begin to describe how incredible it was to randomly choose to come here and eat. I saw there was people inside and I figured I don't take a cab to go back to the hotel just yet. It was just me, the wait time was minimal; I appreciated the focused menu, knowing whatever I chose would be on the money. I opted for the pot roast dinner with French onion soup and was not fully prepared for how divine it was in presentation and taste. If I should be back in Buffalo again, I'll definitely be coming back.

Could not recommend this place enough! The caprese dip is life changing! Wings were also delicious. The real standout was Adam, the bartender. He’s great at what he does in the craft itself of creating cocktails, but especially engaging with the guests. He gave the bar such a fun, lively vibe. It truly makes the experience all the better having a friendly, interactive staff! For sure just gained a new regular

Mike and Pops is a must-visit! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food is consistently delicious, with a menu that offers something for everyone. But the real star of the show is Adam, the bartender. His expertly crafted cocktails and friendly demeanor make every visit a pleasure. Adam goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great time, and his recommendations are always spot-on. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, Mike and Pops, with Adam behind the bar, is sure to become one of your favorite spots!

We stumbled upon Mike & Pop Bistro & Tavern while visiting from out of town, and it was an absolute treat! The wings were some of the best we've ever had—crispy and full of flavor. Our kids loved the mac and cheese—huge portion and so delicious! But the real standout was the Pop's Steak Sandwich—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Our waitress was amazing—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We even got to chat with Pop himself, which made the experience even more special. Great food, excellent service, and a welcoming, family-friendly vibe. We can’t wait to come back!

we were flabbergasted. Expected a daytime lunch stop in a charming tavern. Who expected find cuisine and service?? The menu is extensive, drink lists long and imaginative, and the food was very good. I had a chicken in the grass, which was served on the softest, perfect bun/roll combo, with just perfect spinach and onions and a side of roast vegetables off menu and spectacular. My companion enjoyed a mile high club sandwich buried in the sweetest sweet fries this side of Vermont Maple Syrup shacks. There was a delightful variety of black and herbal teas, served with lemon and honey. We thought we would press our luck with dessert, and were not disappointed. They displayed delightful cakes with recipes and blends we hadn't even thought of before now. Candied pistachios on a light strawberry cake with a cocoa or mocha frosting...indescribable. The last time I was surprised with such a fun, delicious lunch was in a very fancy bistro in Niagara on the Lake. Did I mention Mike and Pops is affordable? It is.

Went for lunch and was not disappointed. I had the bourbon steak sandwich which came with a side of chips and it was a very delicious meal. The service was great there at the bar and though I didn’t grab a drink, they had a really good prices and fun-sounding specialty cocktails. definitely will return to try other things on the menu

Great sport for a quick bite or grabbing a drink. I was pleasantly surprised by their French Onion Soup; best I've ever had. The pizza stuffed thingies were not good and a dry but everything else tasted great. The bar tender was super friendly and attentive. Will absolutely go back to try more stuff.

I feel like I am dining at home! Everyone here is incredibly friendly and always attentive, especially Adam the bartender. His energy and his charm want you to keep coming back and enjoying your night at his bar. All of the food I’ve had filled me right up, the drinks were plentiful and delicious, the atmosphere is rustic and cozy. Super recommend if you want to chill with your friends and spend your night right!
